Elaine works as a freelance food, lifestyle, event and fine art photographer - balancing her time between Hong Kong, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
A native of Hong Kong with a great appreciation for traveling, Elaine persistently navigates un-tarred roads in pursuit of new places, people, and moments to photograph. She loves to tell stories with her photographs and finds being behind the lends as a means of developing dialogue and bridging the gap between people.
Another thing you should know about Elaine is that she is a passionate foodie! Her natural love for cuisine from all walks of life (as well as the belief that nothing brings people together quite like an exquisite meal) led her to receiving a degree in culinary arts from The New School of Cooking in Los Angeles, in addition to her B.A in both Literature and Creative Writing from The Claremont Colleges.
